You will find that most of the bars in Tenerife have some form of entertainment. This can be anything from wide screen TV's showing the latest football matches, comedy shows or similar, to karaoke, quiz nights, and live entertainment with comedy acts, singers or D.J.'s. Most bars are open throughout the day, closing in the early hours of the morning or whenever they start getting quiet. Basically, as long as the bar has customers, they will stay open.
Most night clubs in Tenerife will open in the early evening, but will then stay open until around 5 or 6am. Drinks will cost you a little bit more in the night clubs and some clubs will charge an entrance fee, particularly at peak times or when top D.J.'s are playing. If you're out at night in Playa de las Americas there's a couple of areas to head for; start off at the "Patch", then do "Veronicas" and move on to Starco where the bars get wilder and the best clubs are.
Restaurants in Tenerife are plentiful and varied. Whatever your personal preferences are, you are sure to find a place you just love! It is definitely worth making the effort to visit one or two of the restaurants which fall outside of the usual tourist magnets of Los Cristianos and Las Americas. Playa de las Americas in Tenerife is where you will find a wicked cocktail of clubs and bars. Providing you are looking for a good night out, I can safely say that there is something here for everyone. The clubs and bars are situated in two areas. The first is called Starco's commercial Center and the other is Veronicas Strip which is in an area close to the main Playa de las Americas beach.

RAGS
You will find Rags on the ground floor of the Starco
Center in Playa de las Americas. Rags opens at around 8pm and stays open
throughout the night until around 5 or 6am. This club has always been one
of the best places to be in Las Americas. Playing a varied selection of
music including RnB, Hip Hop, Old Skool and mainstream Dance tunes you are
certain to enjoy yourself at Rags!Your resident D.J. Steve Lloyd is a true
professional (as some of you will know!) and will not fail to disappoint
you. In fact, Rags have a music policy whereby they will play what you want
to hear, not what they want to play - it´s your music, your holiday

TRAMPS
Tramps is probably the biggest club in Playa de las
Americas pumping out all types of dance music from funky house to uplifting
trance. Tramps has recently been refurbished and now looks fantastic with
its classy design. Chrome, neon and velvet drape the walls with a special
VIP area that awaits the privileged.
You will find big name DJ’s performing regularly, and names such as
Dave Pearce, Lisa Lashes and Judge Jules are not uncommon to name but a
few.
Many bar crawls end up here around 3am but you should find the atmosphere
to be electric much earlier than this. Playing the best and most popular
dance tunes you simply cannot miss the opportunity to visit!!
LA FINQUITA Country restaurant, bar and guest house.
La Finquita is a beautiful canarian style restaurant and bar, and bed and breakfast guest house which set in its own gardens in a quiet rural location within Adeje. La Finquita provide classic English and modern international cuisine. If you are looking for something a little bit special then you should certainly consider a visit to La Finquita. LINEKERS
This is one amazing place. If you’re serious
about having a good time and not being afraid to let your hair down, so
to speak, then don’t miss out on a visit to Linekers. You will be
encouraged to dance the night away by the friendly staff to all the favourite
chart and party hits.
Drinks prices are average for the area. You have simply got to try Linekers
to have any understanding as to why this place is so popular in Tenerife.

FASE UNO
Fase Uno is a beautiful bar providing a relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy your drinks. A good choice of background music is played and not too loudly, allowing you to enjoy the company of your friends, family and host. During sporting tournaments a wide screen TV is on hand for all those essential games. A selection of wonderful Tapas is also available for you to try. Drinks prices are very cheap at Fase Uno. You will find the service and hospitality to be excellent. Give it a try - you won't be dissappointed! The bar is located in Edificio Karma, El Madroñal, Fañabe.

O'NEILS BAR
A great feature of this bar is it terrace which overlooks the Veronicas and on the other side overlooks the beach. So if you want to chill out and have a chat, there is ample seating on the outside in which to do so. If that's not what your after then head inside to hear all your favorite RnB, Dance and Old Skool music pumping out until 3am.
This bar is regularly used by tour operators on their bar crawls so be prepared to see some crazy happenings during these periods. Once the bar crawls move on the place is a little more chilled out with not quite so many punters dancing the night away but worth a visit none the less.
The drinks prices are about average and the staff are friendly.
LEONARDO'S
Just a 2 minute walk from Veronicas and Starco makes the perfect starting point. Drinks are a lot cheaper than the bars down the road and you can expect to pay €3 for a pint of local lager. You don’t even have to get up out of your chair in this place as there is table service available!
Almost every British tour operator uses Leonardo’s as the official 'start of the night' bar. Once you pay it a visit you will see why. The bar closes relatively early but you can definitely have some real good times here.
MALLY BOO'S
For great entertainment and food you should try Mally Boo's at Malibu Park, Torviscas. They offer a traditional Sunday roast with home made Yorkshire puddings, fish and chips, and other British food. Drinks are inexpensive with local lager costing you only €1.50 a pint. Darts, karaoke, quizzes and football are also available.

WINKING FROG
For a great breakfast, get yourself down to the Winking Frog! Because they specialise in giving value for money, you won't croak when you see their prices, and their breakfasts are the talk of the town. Early booking is recommended for the traditional roasts...Quiz nights are on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and start at around 9pm. You can find the Winking Frog in Calle Est, Pueblo Torviscas.
THE OPEN ARMS
You can easily find The Open Arms bar in La Caleta, which means of course, that it is within easy walking distance of Playa Fanabe. The Open Arms is well established and is frequented by locals and tourists. Serving delicious home made food throughout the day and evening you are sure to find something on the menu to your liking. The bar is well stocked with a range of local and international drinks which are all at, or below average price for the area. On Sundays you can get a fantastic Sunday roast with all the trimmings. Definitely not to be missed.

THE METT BAR
This is one of the newer bars and like most places
around this area, the bar gets busy at about 10.30ish and carries on until
3am! Music ranges from classic dance and RnB anthems to some cheesy (but
excellent) songs you had probably forgotten about. There is a real party
feel to this place.
Drinks prices are average and you can expect to pay around €4 - €5
per drink.
BRANNIGANS
If you like fun and games then this is the place to be because Brannigans is the home to the most outrageous drinking games in Tenerife.
Whether you want to pole dance, take part in the drinking games or just chill out, you are sure to have an excellent night!
THE MATRIX CLUB
The Matrix Club is the most exclusive night club in the South of Tenerife.The club can be found in the Torviscas area of Las Americas and is close to the entrance of Sky Park.

HARVESTER GRILLHOUSE
The Harvester Grillhouse in Costa del Silencio is a place where you not only get a great meal but also great entertainment too. Their famous Sunday lunch is served from 2pm onwards and includes a half roast chicken, beef, pork AND lamb. Not only that, you are served roast and mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables and all the trimmings. They also serve A La Carte and daily specials.
