The canary islands are only 300km west of the Western Sahara desert, making the climate much warmer in winter than in Britain. The weather in Southern Tenerife can be very different from that in the North.

As the South of the island is much warmer and dryer than the North, it has a more desert-like appearance than the more lush tropical appearence of the North. The South remains mainly rain free, any rain that does fall is usually between October and February.
Average daytime temperatures remain at 22C for most of the year

One of the main concerns you are likely to have is going to be about where you will be living, and whether you intend to rent or buy property on Tenerife, we will be able to offer introductions to reputable agents who can give sound advice in these matters, without any risk of high pressure sales tactics.

Many of the enquiries we receive are from people who plan to visit Tenerife before they relocate, and most have suggested we meet with them to discuss their relocation plans and requirements in more detail. From past experience we have found these meetings to be both inspirational and informative to our clients. So, if you are planning a trip to Tenerife before you relocate we would be very pleased to meet with you in a relaxed and informal environment to discuss your plans in more detail.
