Two bedroom apartment in El Medano (Sleeps 4)
Beautiful apartment situated in the sunny resort of El Medano on the south coast of Tenerife. El Medano, famous for its windsurfing, has the largest natural white sand beach on the island and is the ideal location for a relaxing family holiday and the perfect base from which to explore Tenerife.
The apartment is situated on a quiet complex which has a communal pool and sun bathing terrace with sun beds, and is only two minutes walk away from the lovely beach, pictured above. The apartment entrance is off the Red Square which has a kiddies' play area - ideal for children of 2 to 7 years. Located close by are many shops, bars, restaurants, all within easy walking distance. Saturday is market day in the town square. The nearby town of San Isidro with its many shops is just 5km away and the old town of Granadilla is 10km. Los Cristianos and Las Americas are only 15 minutes away by car / taxi.
The apartment is bright, clean and comfortably furnished. The lounge has seating and dining for 4, TV, DVD and video player and patio doors leading to the balcony. The kitchen is well equipped with kettle, microwave, oven, hob, coffee maker, washing machine, ironing board and iron. There are two bedrooms one with a double bed, the other with twin beds, both have fitted wardrobes. The bathroom has a basin, WC. bidet, bath and shower. For book lovers, the entrance hall has a bookcase with many books which are at your disposal. These may be taken away as long as they are replaced with an equal number of books! We have buckets and spades available for children to play with.
The large balcony overlooking the communal pool has a table and 4 chairs for dining alfresco and superb views towards the famous "Red Mountain" (Montaña Rojo) and the sea.
Accessibility: Unfortunately this apartment is not suitable for people with mobility problems as there are stairs up to it.
Activities: Water sports, sailing, camel safari, fishing, walking / trekking and more.
Attractions / Excursions: Siam Park, Jungle Park, Monkey Park, Aqua Land, Go-Karting, Yellow Submarine Safari. Coach trips to Mount Teide, Loro Parque, Shopping in Santa Cruz, Tenerife's capital city.
Golf: Tenerife has many wonderful golf courses, the nearest of which is just 10 minutes away by car.
Travel: The airport (Reina Sofia) is only 10km away, Los Cristianos about 15km (which has a ferry service to La Gomera) and the capital Santa Cruz is 65km away (ferry service to the other islands). A bus service is available for all of these and there is no need to hire a car.

Changeover day is flexible as are arrival and departure times.
Booking Conditions: Depending on the time of the booking a 50% deposit is usually required with the rest paid in cash on arrival. Late bookings will be by arrangement. Prices are for the property per week in euros. Long let discounts can be arranged. Special prices for late bookings (subject to availability). Possible negotiation on prices.
