Shopping in Tenerife
If you intend to do any serious shopping while on holiday in Tenerife, then your best bet is to take a trip up to the North of the Island. Visiting either Santa Cruz or Puerto de la Cruz will give you access to the big brand name retailers we are all familiar with.

You will find that prices are much the same as anywhere else. In fact, you might even find that prices are a little higher in Tenerife than in the UK. However, you will probably notice that the styles tend to be more european, particularly when it comes to designer clothing and jewellery.
Getting up to Santa Cruz from the south of the island is relatively easy. There is a regular Titsa bus service which takes about an hour. One word of advice though, don't go to Santa Cruz on a Sunday and expect the shops to be open. They won't be. You will find that there is a large outdoor Market in Santa Cruz every Sunday. This sells just about everything you can imagine.
