Did you know..?

The canary islands are only 300km west of the Western Sahara desert, making the climate much warmer in winter than in Britain. The weather in Southern Tenerife can be very different from that in Northern Tenerife.

As Southern Tenerife is much warmer and dryer than the North, it has a more desert-like appearance than the more lush tropical appearence of the North. The South remains mainly rain free, any rain that does fall is usually between October and February.
Average daytime temperatures remain at 22C for most of the year
